The Maharashtra state cabinet, led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde alongside Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, recently convened at Mantralaya. Housing Facility In Dharavi
A new initiative by the Maharastra government aims to give affordable rental housing for people who live in slums in Dharavi who do not currently come under any existing assistance programs. Tunnel Project
The cabinet has also ordered for the immediate construction of an underground road connecting Orange Gate to Marine Drive. Metro Project

B to B Tunnel

Village employment workers will receive monthly payments of ₹8,000, with incentive. A new cattle subsidy scheme will support the care and maintenance of regional cattle. To enhance water resource planning, a Water Resources Information Centre will be established. The Bhagpur Lift Irrigation Scheme in Jalna will now benefit 30,000 hectares of land. Also, the limit which was set earlier for retirement and death benefits has been increased to ₹20 lakh.
New rules for the agricultural self-sufficiency scheme will help more Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhist farmers. Home guard payments will increase, helping about 40,000 personnel. There is also a new policy for military schools, and a program will raise awareness about organ donation and transplantation.
