The plethora of various interesting places to shop in Mumbai is nearly astounding.  Not only do they provide entertainment by having exotic names (like Chor Bazaar, Zaveri Bazaar and Mutton Street) but are also a source of a phenomenal collection of various trinkets. Crawford Market is known for its collection of flowers, fruits, meat and fish and is a beautiful visiting spot. For people who are interested in the Indian heritage and their culture, and the local treats it has, the famous place to visit is the Mohammad Ali Road where tourists can shop to their hearts content. Itar, an increasingly famous aspect of the perfume industry in India holds plenty of fascination, especially for foreigners and a glimpse of it can be located on the same road, Mohammad Ali Road. The Road also boasts of a number of shopping areas that provide local Indian work such as embroidery and zari which is quite famous and very beautiful work done on flimsy cloths such as chiffon.

More popular shopping malls include R-Mall, Inorbit Shopping Mall, Hypercity Mall, and Atria. All these malls are rife with shopping, food and entertainment and are a center of activity for all ages.
