When IC Colony, Borivali celebrates, you can be sure that it will be a grand celebration. This time around was the same when the residents of IC Colony hosted the Goa Carnival. Odd as it may seem to be a part of a heritage that is true only in Goa, it was pulled off well. The Goa Carnival is something that dates back to many years of entertainment which is carried out to share love, companionship and peace amongst anyone that is a part of society. This 2010 Carnival held at IC Colony, Borivali is something that comes once a year and is a must see for anyone who desires to be a part of it. The participation of the public is always high on enthusiasm as crowds gathered to the street to be a part of a rich and diverse culture. With float parades, dances, exhibitions and food for everyone’s delight. The Goa Carnival has proven to be an absolute success. Headed by King Momo and his troupe of entertaining performers, IC Colony lit up the streets of Mumbai as they paraded down the lanes and by lanes in one of Mumbai’s most reputed areas. Keeping the environment theme in mind, everything seemed to run like clockwork. Everyone who has experienced the joy of the Goa Carnival at IC Colony, Borivali is now waiting for it to arrive back in 2011.
